CREDIT RECOVERY
Credit Recovery is one pathway used for instructional recovery. Students typically use this method to recover credits lost due to failing grades or loss of credit from poor attendance. To qualify students must be credit deficent at the time of application. Students have the choice of an AM session, a PM session, or a Night School session. Students will be mentored while working through an online learning program and are expected to attend on a regular basis.
MO OPTIONS
The Missouri Option Program is a program designed for students who are at-risk for not graduating with their peers due to a significant lack of credits. Students who are interested in this program must be at least 1 full year behind their cohort group. Students must also be 16.5 years old and students are NOT allowed to graduate before their cohort group. A MO Options student can attend our AM, PM or Night session to meet their 15 hour/week required academic time. Students will also have to work or volunteer for an additional 15 hours/week to meet the work requirement. To meet curriculum requirements students must pass the following courses; Personal Finance, Health, and Government. In addition to these requirements students also must pass the HiSet test as well as the MO and US Constitition test. Students will also have to take our Missouri EOC tests. Once a student has met all of the Missouri Option Program requirements, they are eligible for a St. Clair High School diploma.
NIGHT SCHOOL
Night school is an evening alternative session that can be used for credit recovery or MO options. Night school is held from 4-8pm Monday - Thursday. Students in attendance need to be there for at least 3 hours per session.
